A detailed planning application has been submitted for a new landmark housing scheme with new public open space, woodland and ecological enhancements, and a new doctors surgery with village car park.

The site, containing two former quarries, comprises 54 acres of land immediately adjoining the western boundary of Godstone.
The land is being promoted through the Local Plan process for a sensitive development of new homes which compliments the village, and privides new public open spaces, woodland and ecological enhancements.
The development proposed will include 140 new homes with 70 homes for affordbale housing managed by a registered provider, very high standards of sustainability and renewable energy, a new village car park and new doctros surgery, and signifcant biodiversity net gains. throughout the green spaces.
